What refrigerant is a car air conditioner?

R134a is currently internationally recognized as an alternative to R12, one of the main refrigerants. It is commonly used in automotive air conditioning, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, as well as a blowing agent for the production of hard plastic insulation materials. It can also be used to configure other mixed refrigerants, such as R404A and R407C.

Its ODP is 0, making R404A an environmentally friendly refrigerant that does not harm the ozone layer.

Main uses: R404A is mainly used as a replacement for R22 and R502. It possesses clean, low toxicity, non-combustible properties, and exhibits good refrigeration effects. It is extensively utilized in low-temperature freezing systems.
